About
Rob Ó Maolalaigh is Head of Deparmtent and Professor of Gaelic in the Department of Celtic at the University of Glasgow. From Dublin originally, he has previously worked at the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests focus on the Gaelic languages both synchronically and diachronicially. His most recent publication is Scottish Gaelic in Twelve Weeks (Edinburgh: Birlinn, 2008).
